Profiles By Kristin delivers hair replacement solutions to men, women, and children of any age or race. We help people with male or female pattern thinning (Androgenetic) and people who suffer from medically related hair loss, including Chemotherapy, Alopecia, and Trichtollomania. Even clients who are in the beginning stages of thinning hair can also benefit from our very special services. We are educated in the revolutionary hair care product line called Nioxin®. We also have received specialty training in cutting, styling, and color to create the illusion of thicker, fuller hair.

Our Atmosphere

Our truly unique hair studio located in Syracuse, NY has been designed to be private, warm, and caring. Our staff strives to be supportive and sensitive when addressing a client's needs. All information exchanged between us and our clients is completely confidential. All of our services are performed in private styling rooms. Our Staff

Kristin Vallar
Kristin is the owner and founder of Profiles By Kristin. She opened her business in 1996 hoping to give people a refreshing new option for their hair loss solutions. Kristin is a licensed Cosmetologist and business owner. Kristin has over 20 years of hands-on experience in the hair replacement industry. With much research, she is continually educating herself on the latest hair industry procedures and materials. Kristin brings a dignified and honest approach to her clientele, staff, and industry partners. She sensitively caters to her clients' needs, while helping them to make the best possible hair loss solution. Kristin's touch of class and artistry provides a much overdue service in this limited industry of hair replacement.


Sue Ford
Sue brings 25 years of experience in the hair industry to Profiles By Kristin;18 of those years have been exclusively in hair replacement style and design. She is a licensed Cosmetologist. Sue has attended numerous educational seminars and events to keep abreast with the latest hair replacement techniques. She takes great pride in her work and pays close attention to detail, striving to make her clients look their best. Sue also is a hair replacement sales consultant, providing clear, concise information to potential new clients, helping them make decisions concerning their hair loss. Sue has a special exuberance that makes her approachable and a pleasure to speak with. We are very fortunate to have her on staff.


Tracy Eberle
Tracy has 24 years of advanced hands-on experience in hair replacement design and style. She is a licensed Cosmetologist. Tracy stays up-to-date with the latest hair industry techniques with continuous educational seminars and events she attends. She has trained various staff members in Hair Extension applications...her knowledge and expertise is extensive. She conducts many of our new client consultations with a direct and honest approach, which is so very important in this industry. Tracy provides our potential clients the information and advice they need to make the appropriate decision concerning their hair loss. Tracy is a joy and pleasure. We are fortunate to have her on our team.



Kathy Darling
We would like to welcome our newest employee Kathy Darling. Kathy is replacing Michelle as our studio manager. Kathy will be doing a variety of jobs here at Profiles. She will be assisting Kristin with various office duties, taking care of the front reception desk, answering phone calls, making or changing appointments, and much more.
We are very excited to have Kathy joining our team...she brings a lot of new energy and enthusiasm to Profiles!
